Formative Pruning

Skilled pruning works carried out by qualified arborists experienced in managing juvenile to mature trees.

Formative pruning of juvenile or young trees encourages good form, sound structure and vitality. Semi-mature trees, specimen trees and large trees should be pruned within accepted arboricultural practise.

Pruning aims to reduce selected branches from houses, commercial buildings and essential services. Weight reductive pruning will increase the longevity of mature trees. Precision thinning will increase light without compromising privacy or tree vitality.

We are experienced in pruning to percentages and diameters in accordance with local conditions of consent. General tree consent applications can be dealt with on behalf of property owners and applicants.

When managing perimeter plantings or overhanging trees on neighbouring properties, be sure to prune with courtesy, consulting neighbours and local rules.
